PSYCHOTHERAPY

WHERE HEALING MEETS WHOLENESS WITHIN THE MIND, BODY & SOUL

Welcome

Lianyue exists to create a space where healing feels both grounded and expansive

Where you are intentionally supported and can deeply connect with all parts of yourself. The beautiful, the messy, and everything that makes you truly human. Lianyue is more than just a standard therapy practice. It is a sanctuary. A place to feel seen, heard, and cared for. To be understood without feeling as if you have to explain yourself first. It is a movement that bridges the gap between holistic and evidence-based practices, making healing feel accessible, trustworthy, and deeply human.

Lianyue is for the tired. The cycle breakers. The strong ones. The leaders. The healers. The high achievers. The worriers. The burnt out. The sad. The perfectionists. The caregivers who feel like they give everything and barely keep anything for themselves. The ones holding it all together for everyone else. And everyone in between. It is for those who have done the work yet still feel their healing journey is unfinished. And for those who have never started, but are starting to recognize that it’s too hard to keep carrying this alone.

Healing is not one-dimensional, rather it is layered and personal, connecting the mind, body, and soul. Lianyue is a space where you can learn to love all parts of yourself, the light and the darkness. Where both can exist and feel supported within all different kinds of holistic modalities grounded in science, guiding you back to yourself in a way that feels safe and authentic.

You don't have to have it all figured out to begin. Start by taking one small step of courage and self-compassion and click below.

The Name

Lianyue. In Chinese, each word can carry many meanings at once. Ours means lotus. Forge. Connect. Love. Moon. We chose it because we believe healing is all of those things.

The lotus rises from muddy water. Healing is forged. It connects us to ourselves and to each other. And like the moon, healing comes in cycles and phases, always returning.

That is the foundation on which this space is built.

OUR OFFERINGS

How We Work

Therapy at Lianyue is not one-size-fits-all. Every person who comes to us brings a different history, a different body, a different set of relationships, and a different understanding of what healing even means. Our work begins there. With you, exactly as you are.

We work together with honesty, care, and an integrative, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, culturally responsive lens.

Our approach draws from: Psychodynamic therapy, Mentalization, DBT, CBT, ACT, IFS, EFT, Somatic-based approaches, Attachment-based therapy, Compassion-focused therapy, Mindfulness-based approaches, Creative arts therapy, and Eastern evidence based frameworks. That means we may work with how your past shapes your present, how your body holds what your mind hasn't processed, how your relationship patterns began, and how to build the skills to live differently on your terms, according to what is meaningful and valuable to you. We use what works for you,  carefully and compassionately tailored.

We meet the whole person. The mind, the body, the history, the culture, the relationships.

Our Values

DEPTH

We move beyond surface-level solutions. Every part of this practice is rooted in intention, supporting meaningful and lasting transformation that reaches the core; not just what’s visible, but what’s underneath.

CREDIBILITY

This is a space built on trust. Our approach is informed, thoughtful, and well-founded, and is grounded in a doctoral-level background. Integrating evidence-based practices with a more integrative approach, tailored to you, so you feel both supported and confident in what you’re receiving.

INCLUSIVE CARE

This space is designed to meet people where they are. We prioritize openness and accessibility, creating an environment that feels welcoming, supportive, and considerate of different life experiences, cultures, and identities.

Who We Serve

Lianyue is designed for anyone seeking a more integrated and intentional approach to care. It welcomes individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, burnout, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, OCD, ADHD, autism spectrum, neurodivergence, identity, and cultural and intergenerational wounds.

We are inclusive by nature, holding space for a range of experiences, backgrounds, and needs, while also welcoming individuals who value depth, credibility, and a more refined, thoughtful approach to healing.

If you've been looking for healing that goes deeper, you're in the right place.

Therapy at Lianyue

While in therapy at Lianyue, you will be met with a calm, yet grounded intensity, creating a sense of safety and trust that embraces both the soft and the rawness of your human experience. It feels supportive without being overly gentle, and bold without being overwhelming. There is space for depth, truth, and transformation, allowing you to feel both held and empowered as you move through your healing journey.

MEEt the founder

Lianyue was founded by Elena Wu, a doctoral-level licensed therapist trained in psychodynamic, somatic, cognitive, and Eastern healing frameworks. Her work bridges clinical depth and holistic care, shaped by a belief that healing encompasses the whole person, mind, body, and soul.

That belief was forged in the hardest corners of clinical work, where she saw, up close, what happens when systems prioritize containment over care. It taught her what was missing and what was possible.

She built Lianyue to be the practice she always wished existed. For herself, for her friends and family, and for you.

IF SOMETHING IN YOU FEELS CALLED TO THIS KIND OF SPACE, YOU ARE WELCOMED HERE.

For all that you are, and are becoming
